Vic: Independents challenge anti discrimination Bill
Two independent MPs say legislation before the Victorian parliament to reduce discrimination
against people in same-sex relationships will undermine marriage and the family.
Gippsland East MP CRAIG INGRAM and Mildura MP RUSSELL SAVAGE say they'll oppose the
bill, which changes more than 40 acts of parliament.
It will give people in de facto and homosexual relationships greater property, medical
and legal rights and benefits.
The BRACKS government needs the support of at least one of three independent MPs in
