VIC: Attempted abduction of 10 year old boy on bicycle
MELBOURNE, Feb 19 AAP - Detectives are investigating the attempted abduction of a
10-year-old boy riding his bicycle to school in outer east Melbourne this morning.
Police said about 10am, in Market Street, Boronia, the boy was approached by a man in a car
who offered him a lift.
When the boy declined and began to ride away, the man attempted to drag him into his car.
The boy struggled and managed to break free, unhurt.
Police said the man had light brown hair and was driving a light blue sedan.
