Tas: ATSB recommends airspace review after near-miss
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has recommended a review of parts of the National
Airspace System after finding a reported near-miss over Launceston last month was a serious
incident.
The crew of a Virgin Blue passenger plane activated a collision avoidance system as
they approached Launceston on December 24 when a light aircraft was detected nearby.
