Fed: Netanyahu expresses sympathy to family
Former Israeli prime minister BENJAMIN NETANYAHU says the death of a former Melbourne
girl killed in the suicide bombing in Jerusalem will not go unnoticed.
Speaking in Melbourne today, Mr NETANYAHU has described the death of 15-year-old MALKI
ROTH as a terrible tragedy.
He says well-meaning people around the world will see the horrible murder for what
it is - but he is urging the families of the victims not to lose faith in the face of
tragedy.
MALKI ROTH had gone to meet friends outside a pizza parlour in Jerusalem just minutes
before the suicide bomber detonated the device that killed at least 16 people and injured
80 others.
Mr NETANYAHU says he hopes that at least the bombing will garner international support
for Israel and bring an end to terrorism in the region.
