CANBERRA, Feb 20 AAP - Over-use of air conditioning and lighting have emerged as huge
sources of energy wastage in Australian offices, a survey has found.

The survey, called the Pilot BeGreen Office Audit, found that 74 per cent of office
workplaces always use air conditioning.

Similarly, one in seven office workers who responded to the survey said they operated
in an environment where the lights were not turned off at night, when no one was …
